AI Agents & Chatbots
ScriptEngine 2.0
ScriptEngine pioneered live soundboard technology in 2011, scaling an outbound operation to 400,000+ leads a month. When U.S. rules tightened around pre-recorded audio, the model was paused — and rebuilt as version 2.0: an AI co-pilot where the machine listens and suggests, a human always speaks, and compliance is enforced before every dial.
The challenge
The v1 advantage rested on keypress-triggered pre-recorded audio — a mechanism U.S. telemarketing rules came to restrict around robocalls and artificial voice. Rather than chase loopholes or move the problem offshore, the operation paused and waited for AI to mature enough to rebuild the model honestly.
The solution
Version 2.0 keeps what made the original powerful — real-time, structured response support — and removes what made it non-compliant. AI listens to the live conversation, transcribes and classifies the objection as it happens, and surfaces two or three recommended responses on the agent's screen. The human always decides and speaks; the AI never speaks to the customer. Every outbound dial passes a compliance gate first — do-not-call status, consent on record, and permitted local calling hours.
- Real-time transcription & objection classification
- On-screen response suggestions
- Human always speaks — co-pilot, not autopilot
- Compliance gate before every dial
Results & impact
- Target: recover per-seat efficiency within a fully compliant, single-conversation framework
- Target: shorten new-hire ramp time with real-time suggestions
- Target: make compliance auditable by default — every dial's DNC, consent and hours check logged
v1 figures reflect the original operation. v2.0 is in active development; its stated outcomes are targets, not achieved results.
